London and Cambridge Properties Limited (LCP) is one of the UKs largest owners of industrial and retail property which is predominantly held for long term investment purposes.  They have owned property in the Pitsea Centre since March 1995.

LCP have been aware of Basildon Council’s objective to regenerate Pitsea Town Centre for some time.  These proposals have been prepared to help achieve that objective.  They include:

  1. A new Morrison’s Supermarket, car park, servicing and possible petrol filling station;
  2. A new market comprising 50 stalls with ancillary storage and amenity building;
  3. Demolition of the Railway Tavern and Market Hall and redevelopment with modern retail units;
  4. Refurbishment of Pembroke House and associated shops;
  5. Improved public realm and landscaping.

LCP would welcome your comments on these proposals.
